Katrina
Turned from a Pear tree downed during hurricane Katrina.
Exemplifies the beauty that can arise from a terrible catastrophe.
Personifies the cohesive effort required to cope with life’s struggles.
Three branches grew together as one.
The winds of life, as well as death, could not weaken their bond.
They remained intact throughout the process of change, from limbs on a
Pear tree, into a new life as this hollow vessel.
